Most of the time no data logged on CF.

Postby Jeroen » Mon Jul 08, 2013 1:10 pm

I have a DL1 and DASH2.

Everything is working fine. But most of the time I don't have any logged data on the CF.

Auto start/stop is disabled. I start logging with a button connected to the DASH2. When loggin is enabled/running my first green rpm light is on.

Then when stopping I just power off the motor, which powers off the DL1/DASH2.

All hardware is on the latest firmware.

The strangest thing is, that I do have some logged data. Mostly 3 sessions of a 6 session track day :(

Any idea?

Tried:
- Other CF Card.
- Format CF card from software.
- Format CF Card from command prompt.
- FAT/FAT32/FATex
- 128 MB cards/1GB cards/2GB cards
- No folders for logging data
- No date in files for logging data

Try stopping the log by pushing the button before cutting power. I believe there are issues when you cut power if the logger is still running.

Yeah, you MUST stop logging before killing power.

If you don't... you will corrupt the card, and must reformat it before using it again.

Maybe that makes more sense now...

Thanks. That did the trick. Just manually start/stop ;)
