Lap files

Postby jml » Mon Mar 25, 2013 3:07 pm

Hi chaps

New to Race Technology systems - had a few test and getting to grips with it.
One thing that I've struggled with is setting the start line

Ideally this is something that I've pre loaded with a .lap file - so you can go straight out and not worry about coming back in and checking that the data is logging correctly (with the limited testing we get at the moment with the weather, every min counts!)

Can someone provide me with .lap files for:
Rockingham
Silverstone National
Zandvoort

or is there an easy way of generating them ?

Thanks in advance

Sorry to bring and old topic back but it would be a massive help if someone has a Zandvoort .run or .lap file?

Thanks in advance.

I had this problem recently when going to COTA (and not may people had been there before). I built a lap file by hand for that one by figuring out where the finish line was in google earth.

Since this seems to be a common problem, I've made a web interface that lets you build a simple 1 marker lap file using a google maps interface. Provided as a public service, I hope you like it. :)

Hi, could someone please supply me with a .run or .lap file for Spa francorchamps, so I can build my own track marker file in advance?

to evl... would it be possible to change your web app to also show the long/lat coords at the two endpoints of the start/finish line as well in decimal format ?
