DASH4 Pro, show text on value

wanting certain alerts to pop up (words) once specific criteria has been met...

example, i am wanting the word "TURN!!!" to show up on the screen once, the driver has met a speed of 25 mph, once he his 28 mph i want it to go off.

-checked "show text based on value"
-Type "TURN!!!"
-set variable to SPEED
-Min set to 25
-Max set to 30
-Font set to "Large"

Doesnt work... is my understaning of this feature flawed?

GPS is working, data is logging normally. On the same DASH screen i have a Numaraic Display also set to speed, works fine, corelates to data no prob.

I'm not aware of any problems in this feature... but I've got to be honest, it's not something that I've personally used for a while. If you are still having problems email the layout to me on andrew@race-tec....com and I'll check it over and ask a technician to test it on the bench.

Make sure you have the correct speed variable selected (i.e. GPS speed)

i was just using "speed" off of the standard values (gps speed and accel)

i assume that dash only uses gps speed, dl does not combine with accel?
