Go to the settings window, and click the test button. Does it download a map?

If you switch to street maps, as opposed to satellite maps, does it work?

Sorry not settings, the "view options tab". Upper left corner of the map window:

evl, If I test the connection then I see a map in the small test window, but it still will not download as a background map.

Update
I have been told by Dr Martin Hill that Google Maps have changed some of their access codes and the new version of the analysis software V8.0 due out in the next few days will have a fix for this problem :D

OLD THREAD - Same problem...

Postby phantomjock » Fri Nov 30, 2018 12:53 pm

Using the Options Tab, I am using ver 8.5. I have a very good high speed internet connection.

I can get the Street Map to load - but not the satellite map. It worked a few months back.

I am trying to load Sebring International Raceway (SIR). Has Google Maps again monkeyed with their format?

Any remedy you can suggest? Is there a means to load KML files "off-line" -- like "fake" the link to Google in the Analysis to a folder/file?

Nice feature to have as a back up as I can get SIR via google ok - see Below:

Did you find the draft Ver 10 docs?

Just a glance, they are being worked on I imagine.

Since the V10 beta has not come out yet, I suppose it is not ready for outside input.

Software and creativity can be difficult to schedule & predict in the end.
