This has progressed beyond any possible value.

Feel free to continue your rationalization of this error. I will continue to call it what it is, an error.

I put two brake pressure sensors from CDS into my race technology system and set them up with a simple formula they provided psi = (x*250)-250).

at rest they read 14psi (which interestingly is 1 ATM).

when I checked them against gauges at pressures like 200, 400, and 800 they were dead on.

They are $265 each.

That's great, but can any one help fix the problem in this thread? :)

Hi,

We are aware of the issue, and it does need a fix - however i would add that the DL1 has function exactly like this for the past 7 years and this is only the 2nd time a customer has raised the point! For the majority of applications it really doesn't cause any problems.

So in summary, we are aware and will look into how it can e improved.

Kind regards,

Support

RT Support,

Has a fix been put into the software for this issue?

Thank you for your help,
Kyle

At least the wheel speed sensors that I spend (Cherry), the ascent / descent of the probe is saturated in about 130 km / h, with more than about 6-8 bolt heads (based on their data sheet). Of course, it depends on the size of the bolt head and the radius of the detector centerline tree.
