Dash 3 - How long is the serial/power cable?

Hi guys,

I'm just about to install my DL1 and I have a Dash 3 on order. I would like to know how long the power/serial cable is that is supplied with the Dash 3, so I can work out where to mount the DL1.

The serial cable is 1m long. If needed it's possible to buy extension cables for this as it is just a standard serial cable.
