My Dash2 stopped working after a reflash.
Now i can't reflash it eihter by DL1 or Com1. Is there any way of reset the Dash2 or push up new firmware?

Try pressing and holding the ‘UP’ button as the unit is turned on, when the fog light comes on release the up button then try to re-flash from the DL1 or PC.

Hi,
the trick with pressing up button to reflash works out well, but when i use the version "DASH2 customer reflash 9 1 9 090907" available on your site the Dash wont work, but when i use an old version "DASH2 customer reflash 9 2 0 071122" the dash starts working.

I think i have from your point of view an quit old dash from 2006. Do you think it might be an compability problem?

Please send me the latest working firmware.

Regards

We have another DASH2 which is showing the same issue on it’s way back to us for testing now. Until this is fixed you will need to stick with the firmware you have which works.

I've got this problem with the 9 1 9 090907 release as well. Where can I get the previous version? I stupidly deleted it from my computer.

I'be has this problem recently with several units. The first time I reflash it messes up the unit. However, the second time I reflash it works perfectly. I am told it is virtually impossible to mess up the Dash2 with a reflash. So I keep trying and eventually it works.

I suspect is might be to do with USB Serial converters...

So what is the process to get an older firmware? I just did the same thing with this newer file and I'm locked up now.

Thanks,
Brian
