change from voltage to another unit?

Postby sdimm » Tue Apr 07, 2009 2:33 pm

hi,

So I have a megasquirt connected to a dl1 mark2 with throttle position via the analoge connection at 5v. So at 0% throttle it gives 0,54v and at 100% it is at 4,5v.

So what I want to do is change so that I see percentage insted of the voltage in the valuetable and in the graphs, and also to be able to show that on a dash3.

I also have a tempsensor that gives out voltage and I´d like to set the lowest and highest temp at a given voltage. And also I have a fuelmeter which need a formula cause it´s not linear.

You define a customer formula using the

Variables Manager > Sensor type/units > Custom radio button > Calculate Formula from Values.

For 0.54 v input enter 0 Output
For 4.5 v input enter 100 Output

Then in Units to Display enter "%"

You can use the calc formula entry to do non-linear formulas assuming you have a decent number of data points.

Thanks!

So can I also change that % value to degrees or custom?

Whatever you want. It's just a simple regression.
