Analysis will not open with Vista Basic

Hi guys, as it says above, I just got a new Compaq laptop with Vista Basic and I installed V7.3.35 All the programs will open except Analysis and Lite Analysis. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what's the fix?

Yes, I have also experienced this. Haven't looked for/found a fix yet.

So is it the case that Analysis does not work with Vista?

It works fine on Vista Ultimate on my desktop - although I haven't tried the very latest build on it (which was the one that failed on my Vista Home laptop).

I have 7.3.24 and it works fine on the Vista Basic

Make sure you're running it as "Admin." Not doing so has caused me trouble with all sorts of apps...

Hi All,

There is one remaining issue with Vista - ona few machines there is a DLL registration problem and basically it is failing on the first installation, but if you simply re-install then it works 100%. So at least there is a simple work around!

I've got someone working on this this right now and I would expect a fix within the next week.
