It used to be in the "Support" part of the website but this area has been offline for the last week or so. Try email support@race-technology.com for it, they will probably be able to send you it directly.

Hi Greg:

Definitely secret handshake.

Newer (single rear plug) and older (dual rear plugs) DL1s are incompatible firmware-wise, and our firmware + installer currently can't discriminate. So for this and another couple of reasons we are currently doing email only to help keep a handle on it.

just did send an e-mail with the firmware i got from Andy last week. I will try to put this firmware (for the old style DL1) on my website. When done i will make a posting here!

Please do not do that. There are several firmware versions that are specific the generation of DL1 you have. If you post that, inveritably someone is going to try to put it on the wrong one.

OK i will erase it again (just got it working).

But please make a foolproof way to download firmware from the official website then.

Last outing i was having trouble with the DL1 in a windmill park at Eemshaven track. I did manage to get an internet connection, which didnt help anything since there was no firmware to download!

Bad service with both a logging system and dash out. It probably did cost me an engine, since i was training without a rev conter and a valve broke! (from hitting the rev limiter too much)
