Missing Features in new analysis!

Postby nikpro » Thu Mar 20, 2008 1:54 am

I can not graph power or the gear in the new analysis release as they are not in the options?

Have you tried enabling them in Data > Variable Manager?

Make sure you take power readings with a HUGE pile of salt, as they depend not only on a lot of accurate data being fed into Analysis, but also on uncontrollable errors, like GPS error, tyre slip, gradients, winds etc.

Power +-30% is about as accurate as I think you can get. One day you might be spot on, other days you might be miles out. But you can't tell which is which without sticking the engine on a dyno on the same day (not a rolling road).

It pays to used Advanced Load/Saves under the file menu to save your variable configuration, etc.
When updating software versions this information seems to get lost from the last session configuration, that's usually been saving us time in the background.

This didn't help much when we jumped from V.6 to V.7, however.
No gain without pain ....
