I was out testing at Snetterton 300 last week with my DL1 and Dash4Pro. It was the 1st time I have used this system. The only problem I had was the Lap times displayed on the Dash4pro were not correct. I couldn't work out what the times related to (they looked more like sector times, but they wern't). The sector times were working as programmed into the .lap file I created. When reviewing the data in the Analysis program after a run using the same .lap file, the laptimes were correct.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Lap times Dash4Pro
I would just like to add to this.
I was at Rockingham yesterday and I had the same problem. I should have put on my first post that the delta times do display correctly, for sector times, and it appears the delta time for the whole lap is correct, but I still don't see the correct lap time until I finish the lap and it is displayed and held for a few seconds.

Sounds correct/normal. The lap or sector time screen will be displayed for a specified time after passing that gate; usually it's not that long of a time, say 3-5s by default IIRC.
You can increase the display time... but if you have a lot of sectors, you'll just keep getting new ones over top of the previous time, perhaps before you can read it...
One option is to put the lap time on your main display screen. It's also not real useful to have too many sector times displayed while lapping; think about the track layout and where you will have time to read the display (such as entering a long straight)... put your sector markers accordingly, so you will have a display ready to look at.
I don't think it'd generally be much use to have more than 3 sectors on most tracks...
HTH...

Hi
I don't think I have explained this very well.
On screen 4, where the lap time is displayed live (not the screen that holds after a sector), it's not reading the lap time correctly.
(Lap time - This is the time up to that point on the lap) This is what it is not reading correctly
Any ideas?
Thanks Andrew
