Hi,
I am using Analysis 8.5, but need to format my PC.
Which folders should I keep safe, in order to restore the database, settings, layouts. etc...

If you go to, the data menu and select Analysis options... then look on the "Data" and "Database" tabs you will see links to the 2 directories where Analysis keeps all its internal options/configurations and databased files respectively. So go here, and copy them all to your backup. Once you re-install, then the contents of these directories can be copied back and you'll "be set".
