Lap timing help

Hi,

Could somebody guide me through getting the lap timing to work on a DL1 mk3?

I've followed the instructions online to generate a lap file. Actually this is not a lap but rather an itinerary where start and stop markers do not loop back.
I've saved the lap file onto the DL1's root and drove the itinerary several times.

When loading the logged data over the lap file, I get an error message telling me each marker is being deleted because it does not coincide with the logged path.
I've generated 3 different lap files from 3 different runs (in both directions) and I still get the same warning messages.

I would appreciate any help getting this to work.
