Contour HD 1080P for overlay with DL1 and RTs software

Hi!

I want to get the video from my ContourHD to work with my DL1 for overlay but are having problems with the formats.

The ContourHD outputs a 1280x720 30p H.264 file but in the VD4converter the formats are not HD! Its like 1024x568 and some other for NTSC.

The video looks right in format with the PALformat but then its just 25P with makes the video stutter. In NTSC it compressed vertically which makes everything look too wide but the framrate at 30fps is right.

Can someone help me with what Im supposed to do to get the right format and the right framerate at the same time?

I think I had problems with something similar and so used another video converter app to convert the 30fps HD footage to 1024x568 @ 25fps which the Media to VD4 program converted fine.

There are free programs that can do this 'Super' and 'Handbrake' are two that spring to mind. It does mean an extra step but the converted video will convert much quicker in Media to VD4 (especially if you encode to MPG in the first step)
