How to upload videos to Youtube in HD without Analysis?

Hi,

I know I can upload widescreen videos in HD to Youtube from within the Analysis software by setting the corresponding checkbox.

But how can I do this with the Youtube browser upload? As far as I know videos are only available in HD when the vertical resolution is at least 720p but the Video4 PAL videos are only 576p. So how is Analysis doing it? Does it upscale the video to 720p before the upload? If so, is this also possible with the Youtube browser upload or do I postprocess the video manually with a video editing software?

Hi Thomas,

There are some flags that you can set on the youtube API that triggers it to be treated as 720p... I would assume these are available at the standard upload form, but I've never checked.
