Exporting Video overlays

I've been getting to gribs with the software, but I am having problems with exporting video footage. I find any video file over 4gb the software crashes.

I was thinking is it possible to export the video overlay only, and then import this into my adobe premier software?

I assume you would need a transparent background, or a solid colour and use chromo?

any ideas?

I posted a bug report about not being able to load any avi files above 4GB. Maybe your issue is connected in some way? Can you import video files greater than 4GB?

I agree it would be useful to be able to export the video overlay only.
