I got tripped up using a gender changer trying to connect to DL1 to use moniter/lite moniter
AND I didn't realise that there were differences in serial cables.
I had a long cable to the usb adaptor that worked fine.
I replaced it with the short serial cable that I use between VOB and DL1 and it all stopped.
I guess the point is to fault find logically and meticulously...
I'm not getting any younger working this stuff out tho!
