I downloaded the beta release of V7 and all was working. I them uninstalled it and loaded the latest version. Loaded the data and now get a streight line as a map. The data works fine on my lap top.

how do i resolve this?

I have the same problem, if you look at the scale of the map it is huge. On one of mine it was 9999kms!
