Math Channels

Postby mlubbock » Wed May 25, 2016 12:08 pm

I'm a new user to RT & just dropped into v8.5.

I would like to know if its possible to add math channels at the analysis stage, features I'm specifically interested in are:-

1. Simple channel arithmetic i.e. average of damper travel ((LHDamper+RHDamper)/2)) and/or summing subtraction, squaring & rooting etc etc.
2. Gradient/Trend-line fit over a specified range (not simple average based on X or Y axis over the full output of specified channel of interest)
3. FFT analysis of an output such as an accelerometer. for instance.

Yes - there are 25 user defined variables available in the variable manager - and you can treat them as math channels (performing math operations on any input/combination of inputs).
I would appreciate if they could bump this number to at least 50.
