There are 2 hardware options when you download the VIDEO4 Firmware update and these were to combat this issue where some displays showed video as monochrome. What variable is it? You could try the smoothed over option. I typically use 0.3 for lat/long accel which does give a smooth curve BUT sometimes you might not want this smoothing out.
