Hi, I use the CAN OBD interface and experience similar problems (it's pretty useless go get rpm only once per second or so...). See this thread: http://www.race-technology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1687 It seems that this is caused by the ECU itself which is not returning the data as frequently as e...

A history is available on the download page, so I think there is no need for additional announcements and what changed in the forum. But removing a version without a comment is quite irritating. I installed version 7067 (yesterday!) and I also don't know if it's better to downgrade or to wait for th...

In the latest software version there is a dynamic line control that can be used for that purpose, if you set the same formulas for the start and end point. See here: http://www.race-technology.com/wiki/index.php/ControlPane/DynamicLineProperties There are also new sample overlay files in the downloa...

Should be possible also with Video4. At least the Video4 firmware history has a note about it in version 1.9.3.
And it is documented here.

DL1 Mk2 firmware version 37 problem
Hi, After updating my DL1 Mk2 firmware to the latest version 37 I don't get any RPM data from the OBD II CAN interface! In the meantime I flashed back to version 36 and with that it works. I think it is related to the change in version 37: 10/3/2010 Modified firmware so that when RPM storage is enab...

Video4 unit does not recognize any CF card anymore!
Hello, Since today my Video4 unit does not recognize any CF card anymore! The power LED blinks once indicating that there is no disk in Drive A: (as of the manual). I tried two CF cards which work on my PC. I reformated them but they are not recognized in the unit. Yesterday I updated the firmware t...

which brand of USB to serial adapter is giving you trouble? It's a prolific adapter. At least I have downloaded the driver from their website and it worked. But I am not sure if the problem is really the adapter. As I wrote: In general it works. I also flashed my CAN ODB interface successfully usin...

I am also running the RT software on a Mac(Book pro) with Parallels and Boot Camp. These are currently the problems: - The card reader from RT ist far too slow in reading and writing files. I'm using a different multi card reader that works much faster. - I failed to flash the latest DL1 firmware (V...

What's new in latest DL1 Mk2 firmware?
Hi, What is new in the latest DL1 Mk2 firmware that is available for download from the RT homepage? The filename is "DL1 customer reflash V33 091124.zip". In the archive there is no history or readme file. Has anyone reflashed the DL1 with this firmware successfully? Best regards, Thomas
