The other option would be to use a laptop battery with a 12v voltage regulator.

Dash 2 Sensor display fluctuation

Even when using a fixed voltage test with a digital meter and a voltage regulator. The displayed setting will fluctuate a lot. I have to set the sample to 100 times to get a steady reading. Even at 10 samples it will fluctuate +-0.2 I put the latest flash on and its still doing it. It's a new unit. ...

If you use boiling water, unless you mesure it from a pan while its still boiling it will cool to about 80oC very quickly if poured into a container.

Only if you mesure from a boiling pan it will still only be about 96oC so use a digital thermonitor when you take you readings.

Best thing to do.
Is take the sensor out.

Connect to a foot pump. and connect a meter to the Sensor.
And take a reading at 0,1,2,3,4 and 5 bar.

Use Potential Divider Calculator http://www.electronics2000.co.uk/calc/calcdiv.htm

once you have the 6 voltages and Pressures you can enter these into the RT software.

Can I have a copy of the latest flash for the Dash2.

I also notice the dash 2 now has a 5v Ref out. is this only for new units or will the latest flash enable this pin.

Thanks
Leigh
