Re: View .dat file to create a .cmg
Excellent - I would recommend the newer software as you can now read back the settings from the DASH2, whereas on the older software this feature is not available. For instructions, email me.

Load the .dat file into the legacy DASH2 configuration utility in the V8.5 software package then open the latest DASH2 configuration utility in the V10 software package and simply copy over the settings. Re: Bosch PST-F 1 Sensor
Hello,
Based on the Bosch data sheet, yes, 4.6kOhm sounds like a sensible suggestion for the pullup resistor. Other values in the 1-5kOhm range would also be fine but in all cases you will need to derive your own characteristic equation for the measured temperature, of course.

Re: CANBUS Gear display on Dash 4
Thanks for the confirmation, we have not connected to a 9A9 yet but if it uses the same CAN protocol as the 9A4 & 9A8 ECUs it should communicate with our products. Unfortunately gear position is not listed as available from CAN - https://www.race-technology.com/wiki/index.php/ECUType/MBE9A4AndMBE992...

I didn’t see in your original post that the system is not currently working or that you were in communication with Kieran already. I’ll ask him for an update for you, be aware we are short staffed due to Covid-19 but will respond as quickly as possible.

Re: Driver Identification
Hello Alex,
Log on what? DL1? You could connect a switch to an analogue input on the DL1 that would allow you to identify the driver.
