I meant with another sensor that is known to be working hooked up to a frequency input.

I have not tried the option.
My car with wheelspeed sensors is currently out of action.

 Perhaps you, or someone else with a frequency input in use, could experiment and let us all know :?:

We may not be able to figure it out, but the more we (users) do, the better we can assist R-T or other users who might have suggestions home in on the problem. It's possibly a bug in the new Dash, but surely not as simple as deceleration in a direct (1:1) gear, or gear number 5, triggering it. R-T w...

Have you determined ratios by counting teeth or assuming that printed literature is correct? I half expect that 5th is 1:1, but... I am assuming that this problem will show in the Analysis software too. Have a look. Create a user channel that calculates either RPM or speed in fifth using your entere...

While it is hard to imagine the mechanical "toilet lid" part of the K-Jetronic CIS system working well during high 'g' manouvres and having a generally long service life, it was obviously well enough engineered to satisfy many "sporting" customers. In Porsche and BMW land, Kugelf...

Perhaps our colleague hopes to have the original instrument cluster still hooked up to the sender. That appears to "read" the current through the sender unit, by controlling the voltage. In R-T land, we sense voltage; users need to understand that it is not the actual sensing element that...

Dig you now.
You could assign Vehicle Constants (CAR_1 to CAR_10 are available) at the time you set gear ratios.

BTW, what do you make of this new thread: http://www.race-technology.com/forum/vi ... highlight=

I have not explored Traqmate and Traqview, but I'm tempted to say that if there were no discontinuities, the TBL would be achieveable. Unfortunately, knowing this doesn't overcome the problem that in all but a very simple circuit, there is too much for most drivers to remember, rehearse and recall. ...

Doesn't VAR_0022 (IIRC) return the correct integer value (most of the time) if you have an appropriate .car file and cleanish RPM?

Obviously, you need to race at a more cautious pace, so that you do less than 200 laps.

I assume you measured your resistances between that wire and the car chassis, i.e. ground. If the sender was not installed and the measurements were between this "output" wire and some part of the sender, that part must be grounded when the thing's in the tank. In any case, you didn't meas...
