If the DTA forum starts working again, you can ask Marco. He's the guy that built his own display. but currently, all my comms ( only laptop mind you ) are via the 15 pin connector on the side, exactly same as the old P8Pro. Marco's dash display works with all the DTAA units...so the serial strea mu...

If the DTA provides a RS232 based asynchronous serial stream rather than the CAN based synchronous serial stream you gave in the original post then it is easily possible using a simple RS232 cable. Note that both are serial based data streams. AFAIK the newer generation DTA Sxx series ECU's use CAN...

Why cant you just use the DTA's serial stream then ? MXL's product can use it, and I know of another guy who built his own custom dash display to work from the serial stream too. Would it be easier than CAN ? While on the topic of DTA....have you guys actually got a Dash2 up and running from an S80 ...

Which was more accurate, the display at the time or the logged data? As I say. I dont know if there are things to configure in the software. I could never get the logged data, to display the same as the real time data did. The real time data appeared accurate to me based on the external timings. Ei...

I dont really know how to st up my AX22 to the best. But Ive used it in real time at Santa Pod, Avon park, Elvington, and Crail for 1/4 mile stats. IMO, it is very very accurate. What I would say though....is the times displayed after the actual run...dont often tally up with what appears when I try...

Anything over 40deg, and really there is room for improvement. Ive never monitored before/after.... But most turbo cars Ive worked on, generally stay well below 40deg on all but the hottest of days, or being abused heavily. Are these logs during a drive, or after sitting up ? No chance of heat soak ...

So you have run the unistaller and re-run the installer and you are now getting this message? I suggest uninstalling again and ticking the box to clean the registry entries, this sometimes sorts problems like this out. Martin No...on my programs list, V7 etc etc is there. When I select uninstall fr...
