bump. When I try to measure between the two CAN wires at my ecu ( at ecu plug, not connected to the ecu..so testing CAN interface only ) At no point do I get a resistance measured, either 60 or 120ohms. Can someone also confirm Dash2/CAN connections ? Seria Data In, despite its name, goes to the Das...

It is worth checking with a multimeter that there is 60 ohms between the CAN H and CAN L lines on the interface (pins 2 and 7). If you measure 120 ohms then you need to add a 120 ohm resistor between the two pins. The CAN interface outputs the data at the rate it is received from the CAN bus, so if...

I didnt want to use serial, as I wanted to be able to use Dash, and have the laptop connected to the ecu, which currently uses the serial connection.

bump...still need help here.

No matter what I try, Lite monitor updates very slowly. Boost value is just silly.

Ive tried turning CAN off and on with the DTA, and flashing latest firmware.

Is the problem with DTA, or the CAN adaptor ?

Ive logged 1/4 mile runs with my AX-22 and viewed them in the software. ALthough there must be a slight time shift somewhere, as what is viewed in the software, isnt exactly the same as displayed on the unit at the time... As for other logger versions...dont know. But surely if you can locate a stat...

Have you terminated the CAN bus from DTA on the CAN convertor side with 120 ohm? Please explain ? In Lite Monitor, my refresh rate is less than 0.55Hz I do not use the DL1, my DTA connects directly to teh CAN interface exactly as per instructions. Can Low goes to pin 2 of the D-sub connector suppli...

I run roughly the same set-up (S60) The pressure could be a scaling issue. This is the case in my setup, where the CAN unit seems to assume that it is mBar. You could check with the Lite Monitor the output. Divide by 1000 and you are ok In my setup I have had to switch of the Ecu-RPM from CAN and u...

The DASH2 has a maximum pulse per mile capability of 12000. We do how ever have a programmable input divider which can divide the input from the wheel speed sensor by up to 256. If you are interested in that solution do get in touch with us. Thanks...but can the ecu interface speed reading be used ...

I already have a 22 tooth trigger fitted to my undriven wheel for wheel speed to my ecu, so it makes sense to use it.

I could probably hook up to a rear wheel...but with the likely hood of traction loss, I dont want it used for a speedo reference.

wheel speed pulses, Dash2

I think this is required direct for speedo and milometer operation ?? Ive wired the undriven wheel speed sensor to the Dash 2. The equation in the manual says for inches... 63360/ ( wheel circumference ) ie 63360 / ( 26" x 3.142 ) = 775.5 give or take. I run 22 teeth per revolution. 22 x 775.5 ...

The Rx and Tx are the right way around, otherwise it wouldn’t have gotten through to 16% on the reflash. Try again with the unit turned off and follow the instruction as to when to turn the unit on. Please email the reflash file you are using to Martin mhill at race-technology.com so he can check...

reflash

I bought a used Dash2 recently, and got it powered up today. I tried to connect using the V7 software, but it would appear my unit needed re-flashed. I tried holding down the down button on power up, and no version info appeared. So...I connected the Dash2 directly to my laptop via Keyspan USB-Seria...

DTA S80Pro and Dash2

I'll ask in here, as the other post didnt get any response. Ive bought a used Dash2, and want to hook it up to my DTA via CAN. Last time I asked...RT had never done this before. Has anyone now ? Is it easy to configure ? I dont want to use serial, as I want to be able to use the laptop for tuning et...
