Try un-checking Interpolate between data points in "Analysis Options -> Data Options" and check Max rate of change for the analogue input in variable manager.

More advice, make sure any excess length of cable is not coiled up but is run backwards and forwards, this helps prevent the coil of wire acting as an antenna and picking up noise!

How long did you wait ? It might take several minutes to get a lock. The GPS LED light flashes when the internal GPS system is locked on. It flashes once slowly then a quick "blink" for each satellite it has locked onto.

On my setup, there were 3 wires going into the tank, 12v, ground and the signal from the float sensor within the tank itself.

I simply tapped into the signal sensor wire somewhere in the loom outside the car. Job done - took all of 5 minutes

In my experience there is so much sloshing around of the fuel in a standard tank that the fuel sensor reading will be more or less useless when on track. You will need to filter the values very heavily over quite an extended period of time. What are you really trying to measure ? fuel consumption or...

I guess this is might be down to the fact that the LCD display can only display a one in these positions rather than a full digit ? In which case its a hardware limitation.
