As has been mentioned, the problem is the accuracy of the basic GPS unit, it can drift around by a few metres, this drift can take a long time, so from one lap to the next the accuracy will look very good, but if you overlay sessions from different days you can easily get an offset. This is exactly ...

If you connect directly to the coil you need to connect to the negative side, the side which is switched by the ignition system. If you have connected to the red wire this could well be the 12v side which is just a permanent 12v while the ignition is turned on. I would try connecting to one of the o...

If you wish to use those sensors with your DL1 then go ahead, there will be no problem at all so long as you can get the calibration information. Our system has been designed to b...

Hi,
There is no default graph for that, but it is very easy to set up custom graphs. Just set up the graph you require once and then select results/custom and default/store window as custom. You can then name that as g-circle and you can call it up whenever you like.

Hi, The plastic could affect the signal, it really depends on exactly what the plastic is made of, the only real way to find out is to try it and see how you get on. Ideally the antenna would be mounted as high up as possible with a clear view to the horizon in all directions. To see how good the si...

Hi Henrik, You can test it with hyperterminal, set it to 115200 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, no flow control. With the DL1 connected to it you should see a copyright message when the DL1 is first turned on. Make sure that you are using the null modem cable supplied with your DL1, you ca...

You can just ignore that line, it tells me which version of the code it is. The DL1 and DL2 firmware now contains some modes to aid communication over a GSM interface. This mode must be disabled if the DL1 is used with a serial input stream, such as from an ECU or an IMU06. The GSM mode is enabled w...
