Re: Analysis Software - Multiple Vehicles
Right you just have to "find a way" really, it can be sorted. I like to wifi files to my laptop from a mounted GoPro, for instance.

Re: Analysis Software - Multiple Vehicles
For sure that sort of stuff can aggravate when you need the information asap and have 100 other things going on. Things like looking over the knowledge base Re: "advanced load/saves"... or a different laptop for each car... or one layout/settings for all of them arranged in advance, but possibly usi...

RT comes through again with a solution to the file loading issue I experienced.
Thanks for your hard work and responsiveness RT Team!

Re: GoPro Standalone Software Support
Yes, we're going to take a look via TeamViewer tomorrow. Now that the issue is less intermittent, it should be easier to solve - so this is good news in the long run. I lean toward some sort of local or windows issue since the application works well for so many others. RT has been very responsive!

Re: GoPro Standalone Software Support
Yellow marking notes the RT_video_analysis.exe process which opens briefly and then terminates when I try to open a GoPro clip.

Re: GoPro Standalone Software Support
Something easy to sort out. Started getting these error messages with the 132 download. So at the moment completely down as no runs can be loaded. Thanks for the help, emailed too. Win10 fully updated, .NET manually updated just in case. In the past, the two popup error workaround was to open a diff...

Re: RPM signal from ecu
The OBD2 port can sometimes have other things to keep in mind and setup. There can be sync issues, or slow sampling for some cars, not sure about yours however. You can wind up with enuf samples per second for a live display, but less than some other things you are logging at 100 hz. If you just nee...

Re: RPM signal from ecu
Applications vary, but the ECU's tachometer signal to the DL1's low level RPM input should be fine. Grounding the logger well to chassis ground or even to the ECU case should be fine. In the Analysis software's Data tab, find "...vehicle options" and look for the RPM area, set as needed until you ge...

Re: GPS data freezes after some time
Can you link to an example file? In the meantime look at some of the GPS channels such as positional accuracy, speed accuracy and so forth. Is your antenna arrangement optimized?

Re: Need help with formula for PSI
I'd be inclined to just add another sensor / channel. You could even use another 3bar Bosch sensor since you know the calibration for it. Or calibrate your other sensor by logging it and the Bosch simultaneously (replumbed) and then going from there. Then, a math channel to take the difference.

Re: gear position indicator Dash2?
Looking at this some more...one of the factors could be speed accuracy. Maybe add on a 3rd reference such at the speedometer feed? Anyway here are some graphs comparing a run logged with two different GPS devices. What I call delta is Speed - GPS velocity raw. I made a D4Pro screen to watch that as ...

Re: gear position indicator Dash2?
Off for a drive...at idle display started out in 10th gear flashing a warning i put in for 7th and up...after awhile driving along it settled into 6th, which I was using. So i log that and then do 6-5 downshift..then 5-4....then back to 6th. The entire time the gear displayed as 6th. Analysis shows ...

Re: gear position indicator Dash2?
Did some testing as I do not normally use the GEAR variable on my Dash 4 Pro display or in analysis. Yes there is some sort of issue to sort out...apparently. Sitting idling at a traffic light..good GPS signal...level ground, no motion. I see the gear display on the D4P go up and wind up in 10th gea...

Re: GoPro Standalone Software Support
It'd be nice if the GoPro MTP was revised. Then you'd just plug in a USB-C cord. But you cannot get LRV files that way, hence the MTP comment. Older for-the-track PCs don't care for long 4K files. Various steps along the way that would be nice to skip. I can get Analysis to access all GoPro media fi...

Re: gear position indicator Dash2?
Firmware(s) all up to date?
Can you look over a logged file in Analysis?
Check speed, RPMs, Gear and GPS pos acc. Can post to cloud or do a screen shot if you'd like.
