Not sure everyone has noticed, but in V7 the time slip function has been significantly enhanced with the ability to select the reference lap, which was previously limited to being the "fastest theoretical lap", but now can be any. This is selected by the radio button next to the lap design...

I have a wideband O2 sensor (the one we sell) in my race car, just feeding an analog input on the DL1. Data is quite acceptable with no special provisions - no shielded cable, no filter caps or anything. The DL1 does have some high freq filtering on its analog inputs, and the software allows more if...

If setup is correct: Correct null modem cable Correct COM port selected DL1 configured to send data out serial port (it is by default) Then Lite Monitor should just "work". I'd suggest that you contact your dealer or Support / Sales at RTUK and get the correct serial cable. Sorry for the p...

Not sure how to respond - the channels actually available will be largely determined by the input device, especially as we have now added a load of ECU specific chanels.

Can you explain your situation?

Andy: That option is only relevant to the DL2, it has an optional package that allows storage and post analysis of the completely unprocessed GPS data at 20Hz. This mode is not supported by the DL1 GPS chip, so that data is unavailable. This does need to be documented better, I agree. This was not a...

Please send me some data, it will make more sense to me that way.

Just tell me where in the data the throttle is at 0 and where it is fully open.

Sounds as if there must have been some kind of a problem with the grounding??

Anyway, glad it's all working now, and thanks for the tip re finding the RPM signal on the Porsche!

Generally a good idea to do a complete uninstall using the uninstall in RaceTechnologyV7 > Other.

OK, I understand! We have recently made this sort of thing a lot easier. We have added an equation generator to the Variable manager. So if you go into Data > Variable Manager > External Inputs > Analog1 (for instance) then Sensor Type / Units and Custom: You will see a button titled "calculate...

I've emailed you and await seeing your data in return.

One thing I find odd, though, from your other post, is that the throttle reading maxes out at 5.5V even though it's being fed rom a regulated 5V supply. Something is odd for sure.

Where are you located?

Assuming that's not one of ours, do you have the manufacturers' equation - or a set of data points (pressure vs voltage)? If the latter, our latest software has the ability to derive the equation from a set of data points.

I don't think so, most of the simplification consists of omitting features.
