Jon: Hard to say without the data, but it looks as if you have little or no GPS data. The filename listed is correct for your DL1. Are the lights behaving normally, including GPS showing a lock? Most common problem is bad GPS antenna (usually cable) or connection, but it is also possible for the GPS...

Contact RT UK by phone, or go to the support section and open a support ticket. Phone is likely fastest.

Charles:

Jeremy's answer is probably best, but you can also "manually" select laps or sectors to display by selecting Options > Use Data From... in the map window.

Probably best to try a firmware reflash first, but honestly it sounds like a hardware fault to me. I'll email DASH1 firmware to you.

Z06: We are initially reading only the "generic" OBD2 info, which I don't think will include steering angle and probably not brakes. Throttle will be there. We will also have a pure CAN interface, which can be programmed to read anything that's available on the CAN bus. Caveats are that yo...

For general info, it seems that there was a batch of DASH2s that are unhappy in standalone mode (ie no serial port connection) and thus need a dongle/terminator when used w/o a datalogger. As most DASH2s to date are used with our dataloggers, this will not affect most customers. But if you are exper...

Funny, could have sworn the third-from-last word in his post was "pre-trigger". :D

Mark:

What we are doing is grabbing data at various rates, ie RPM and throttle position at highest priority, things like coolant temp and lambda trim at low priority.

So though it could be quicker, it's pretty useful info in my opinion.

Different firmware versions may slightly alter behavior, but in general, except for the startup sequence, the logging light is off when not logging and on when logging. Autostart will not affect this UNLESS the pretrigger is being used. When pretrigger is in use, the unit is actually logging once st...

Pretty easy from the user side, the data comes in (from the adapter) as normal Race Technology data, so it shows up in Monitor, Analysis, DASH etc. just by selecting the elevant channel.

We are currently in test/debug with this, so it's coming along nicely.

Small world - good to meet you at VIR on Monday. I assume all was well data-wise?

How did you and Don get along with the Cayman? Sounds like a sweet setup!

Four possibilities: Intermittant DL1 fault CF card issues Corrupt DL1 firmware Noisy 12V power I'd reflash the DL1 (email or post what vintage DL1 you have) and get a new CF card for starters. If you have recent firmware on the DL1, the stoppage reason will show up under Run Manager, but that won't ...
