I was attempting to connect an OEM wheel speed sensor...I wired together the 12v, sensor lead, and the brown dash sender wire. I connected the other wire from sensor to the black ground wire (top connector) going into the dash. So, I guess the problem was either wiring to the ground wire in the dash...
