Thanks for the reply, engines had a few other issues on the dyno so i'll not be doing anything with it for few weeks, but will get in touch when I am. Thanks again.

With the help of a nice guy at Race Tec, I found out it was something I'd overlooked. I didn't realise you had to set the dash up to read from RS232, using the buttons rather than the configuration software. Now I've done that everything works perfectly.

Right, after reading the info on the link it seems I should have mentioned the sensor has 3 wires, a 5v ref, an output and a gnd.
