My DTA and Dash2 both ground to the same point on the chassis. Done deliberately to minimise any voltage offsets for the Analogue channels in use. Update varies, but is typically less than 1Hz on Lite Monitor. It really makes no sense. Even something as simple as TPS, engine off, is very slow to reg...

I think my original readings were off somehow. Last time, I did indeed read 120 ohms with everything connected up, measured on the 2 wires just before they enter my S80Pro. I added a 120ohm resistor across this in parallel, which then brought that reading to 60ohms. However. Channels display slow on...

bump.

Would this lack of any resistance reading perhaps indicate a faulty unit of some kind ?

Might also explain why I cant get any sensible info on Lite Monitor and the Dash2 ??

Sorry, should have been more specific. open circuit, infinite resistance. Originally measured at my ecu plug, unplugged. Then when I got no reading, I tried at the RS232 labelled plug off the CAN adaptor probing the pins directly, incase there was a problem with my short wiring to my ecu. Again, ope...

I tried measuring with power off, and power on.

I didnt get any measured resistance across those pins at all ??

I opened the case up of the plug, and its a yellow and green wires attached to those pins.

So the tacho output from the ecu should work ??

Dyno isnt an option for me. There are no suitable facilities here. There are some dynos, but my car wont be near them.

GT101 is just a hall sensor. Could be used for any such reference really.

No idea of its output though, or the factory speedo one you refer to.

I just know its one of the few bits that do work right for me lol

Im using a GT101 hall sensor, which also supplies my ecu with a speed reference. It's one of the few aspects of the Dash2 Ive got working properly !!! My ecu provides +5v and ground, and I paired signal to ecu, and Dash2. Dont forget to set the Dash2 to read from its own speed input, as opposed to R...

The AX22 needs an rpm signal of 5-15 volts, which is normally just one wire. The the AX22 should produce a reasonably accurate horsepower figure, provided the test environment is consistent. It is worth noting that ambient conditions can have a measurable effect on rolling resistance, engine power ...

AX-22 HP runs ??

What is required to plot a graph of rpm, vs estimated HP when making an acceleration run ? Does the AX-22 just need a tacho input ? ( signal and ground ? ) And assuming the input parameters for weight/drag stayed the same, you used the same section of road etc. Would the results of a graph of say a ...
