Re: Problem with rpm and Dash2!
Of course Shane - You need to adjust your pulses per rev setting in the dashes configuration. I recommend doubling the current pulses per rev value and retesting. The location of this setting depends on what software you are setting up the dash with. If you email your dash configuration file to dani...

Re: Solid State Drive
When you make a DL1 MK2 configuration file, it is up to you to save the file in a suitable location, the software does not automatically store the file in a specific directory. Unfortunately on that model of datalogger it isn't possible to read the settings back form the unit, so really you need to ...

Only via USB connector and DASH2 PRO configuration utility, the Unit Control Inputs section is where you can change the settings.

Re: View .dat file to create a .cmg
Excellent - I would recommend the newer software as you can now read back the settings from the DASH2, whereas on the older software this feature is not available. For instructions, email me.

Re: View .dat file to create a .cmg
Hi, You can run the V8.5 & V10 Race Technology software together on the same laptop. Load the .dat file into the legacy DASH2 configuration utility in the V8.5 software package then open the latest DASH2 configuration utility in the V10 software package and simply copy over the settings. If you are ...

Re: Bosch PST-F 1 Sensor
Hello,
Based on the Bosch data sheet, yes, 4.6kOhm sounds like a sensible suggestion for the pullup resistor. Other values in the 1-5kOhm range would also be fine but in all cases you will need to derive your own characteristic equation for the measured temperature, of course.

Re: CANBUS Gear display on Dash 4
Thanks for the confirmation, we have not connected to a 9A9 yet but if it uses the same CAN protocol as the 9A4 & 9A8 ECUs it should communicate with our products. Unfortunately gear position is not listed as available from CAN - https://www.race-technology.com/wiki/index.php/ECUType/MBE9A4AndMBE992...

I didn’t see in your original post that the system is not currently working or that you were in communication with Kieran already. I’ll ask him for an update for you, be aware we are short staffed due to Covid-19 but will respond as quickly as possible.
