I tried it.
Runfixer works properly but the file obtained is still not recognized as a run file by Analysis.

i have two files which are not readable with analysis software but i can convert them to text (.csv) and datas seem to be corect.
Is it possible to repair Run files ?

What is the useness of item 4.3 "lock the DASH3" of the menu system of dash 3 ?
" lock dash3 on dl1/dl2 data logger" as said in knowledge base, what does it mean and when have we to use it ?

i just received this morning a serial adapter (usb/serial) from RT. But I can't connect to DASH3 with the software ... always the same message "system can't detect the sequence"... the help file says "connect to serial port on PC and power on the device" but how can you power on ...

We tried the new firmware on our DL1 MK2 with the last software to make a setup file. when we used auto start on analogic 7 (> 3000) it works fine, the same config used for auto stop on analogic 7 never works. what do you think about ? is it a bug or a hardware failure? On the same DL1 we cannot use...

we still explore remote controle for dl1 start/stop. we have an unused analogic input 8 and we try to use it to start dl1 using a current of + 5V by a switch. Autostart set to autostart if input > 3000mv works fine. then after we try to use it to stop dl1. Autostop tested with autostop if input 8 > ...

the uncommanded start of DL1 happens only when engine is running, a few seconds after starting. And very strange, we have never uncommanded stop!! even the engine is running for a long time... Really, I don't understand why... JC button comes from a Mirage F1...(old jet fighter made by Dassault)... ...

Tristan: the resistor is between the earth and the button? the first thing we try was a 1K resistor between start/stop pin of DL1 and remote cable and unfortunetly it don't work for us. I think i am going to use autostart as said Al and an unused analogic input for autostop with +5 V throug the butt...

Despite all what we try, when engine start, remote button start DL1 itself ...but ,very strange, never stop it itself. We have no more idea ....may be a wood stick to push the button of DL1...do you really think that remote button sold by RT, would resolve the trouble? and why? desperate user... JC

I read, in a previous post (july 2007), someone said that it was possible to use a shortcut for the remote button whith a 1K ohm resistor between 5v and start/stop input in order to provide, if i understood, about 5 mA current , to prevent autostart by uncommanded grounding. Is it dangerous for DL1?...
